Today is a big blogging day! We are headed to six schools in eight hours — Cunningham, Cowan, Dawson, Patton, Oak Hill, and Small. We have to stay on time to be sure that we get to all of them before school is out for the day. And, tonight I have my very first (I am so excited!) retirement dinner for 288 of AISD's finest!
I had a tummy ache this morning, so I didn't have breakfast (bad superintendent). I'd have more energy if I did. I wonder what we serve for breakfast in our schools...
Kathy Anthony, the mastermind behind the scenes for this 44 in 4 effort, worked really hard to get us off on time today. We told Liz the Bus Driver to "drive like the wind" ... but don't go over the speed limit, of course.
