Today we completed our 22nd school visit in the "44 in 4" Tour. We made it to the halfway point! It's been hectic, inspiring, and a whole lot of fun. I'm so glad we undertook this marathon.
I've seen how each campus has a unique personality that reflects their school community; yet, everywhere I feel the love for education, children, and the future they will create someday. I've met so many wonderful educators, students, and parents, and I'm proud to be their Superintendent. A big "Thank You" goes out to the 22 campuses that have welcomed me and Dr. Trevino. Seeing your hard work renews our commitment to do the best we can for our schools and the children we serve.
We will finish this week with visits to several more schools before heading into the homestretch during the last week of May. I'm sure the next 22 schools will be as wonderful as the first. Be sure to check back for the latest updates!
